Well, this was just an introduction to the main lead and her loved ones, whom you will frequently meet in the manga as you read on. The real twist and the gist of the story is that there is this one murderer who is out of prison now and has been serial killing people.
The man who is the killer is allegedly married and had killed his wife three years ago for insurance money. The reason he was punished so lightly was because he had manipulated all the witnesses and had also proved that it was not intentional and that he was drunk. The serial killing has once again begun. We saw that previously, in A Married Killer Chapter 99, Kwon Tae Sung’s mother disliked Yu Bo Na and did not want Kwon Tae Sung to marry her. His mother disliked Yu Bo Na only because she was an orphan. She did not care no matter how good of a person Yu Bo Na was. Kwon Tae Sung moved out after that and stopped coming to see his mother.
Three months later, Kwon Tae Sung’s mother, Sun Ja, gave up and waved the white flag of surrender. Kwon Tae Sung knew that the most effective way to convince his mother was to cut himself out of her life. And now it had worked. Kwon Tae Sung tells his mother that she will have to apologize to Yu Bo Na before anything.
Sun Ja disagrees with it because people say things behind other people’s backs all the time. But Kwon Tae Sung tells her that Yu Bo Na had heard her, so it was different this time. He also tells his mom that he will cut himself off from her life if she does not apologize to Yu Bo Na by the next day.
Sun Ja, Kwon Tae Sung’s mother, actually wanted to apologize to Yu Bo Na. But her ego came in front. However, Kwon Tae Sung tells Yu Bo Na that she can expect a call from his mother today, though she is not the type to eat humble pie. Yu Bo Na tells him that she is really fine and that his mother does not have to apologize, but Kwon Tae Sung insists.
