Recap And Review
A Girl & Her Guard Dog Episode 9 continues on the current, even with Mikio threatening Isaku with a knife. This episode was again not very good with its animation but it was better than what we saw in some of the previous episodes.
Mikio threatens Isaku and gets Keiya to the Storage facility where he gets Keiya tied up. After this Mikio goes as far as to sexually harras Isaku and this is where Isaku takes charge herself and kicks Mikio in the crotch. Keiya gets up to beat Mikio but Isaku stops him from doing so saying that he is needed in the upcoming play at the school.
Speaking of which, this is what is presented next in the episode where the plays get tense due to Mikio not showing up, and therefore Keiya represents the role of Romeo against Isaku acting as Juliet. As the play comes to an end, we see that Isaku lets herself loose, goes beyond the script, and kisses Keiya.
After the play comes to an end, Keiya again asks for a kiss but Isaku refuses saying that she only did it because they were in the play. However, Keiya kisses Isaku’s hands as he recites the line from the play which seems to him to confessing his feelings.
As we have all been wondering how far the romantic development between the two would go, this episode showcased that it could go as far as making them kiss. Traumatized by this, we await to see what is next for A Girl & Her Guard Dog.
