In the most recent episode, Karla met with the possible minister of land to talk about Khaderbhai’s ambitions to erect towers in Sagar Wada. During the interruption of the conference, Karla is informed by Walidbhai that the area is now under his control.
Since he doesn’t have enough resources, Lin continues to treat patients in his hut and sends some of them to a hospital. He goes to the doctor with the old patient when the hospital refuses to treat Sonam, but the doctor sends them away because Lin decides not to pay him any bribe.
Lisa informs Modena that she must find independent housing. Lisa tells Modena that she can’t love anyone after he confesses his affection for her to her. She agrees to take the drugs if they will help her, as he notices her sitting there with a syringe and some pills.
Lisa makes it obvious to Modena that he should refuse her if he wants to develop a relationship with her since whatever she chooses to do of her free will results in her suicide. She also takes part in the drug transaction with Modena and Maurizio. When Karla comes across her, she asks how she is doing.
When Karla first meets Lin, she challenges him to leave Bombay in favor of leaving the slum inhabitants. Lin argues that since he started the fire that murdered Lakshmi, he owes it to these people to assist them. Lin approaches Khaderbhai and requests his assistance in finding medicine.
Abdullah transports him to Aunt Ruby, a drug trafficker. She only gives him a small amount of money because Lin doesn’t have enough, but it’s enough to keep Sonam from dying. Lin meets Ruby, but given the enormous sum of money she demands, Lin cannot buy adequate supplies.
When Khaderbhai finds out Lin is willing to risk his life to save Abdullah, he orders all the resources Lin needs. Lin enters into a “deal with the devil” by accepting the supplies, which adds him to Khaderbhai’s group. Although Lin tells the criminal lord straight away that he won’t take part in anything the latter accomplishes,
Lin accepts the supply bag Khaderbhai delivers without making an effort to reject it, even though he knows it is an invitation to join his gang. After meeting him twice and learning of Rujul Aadekar’s passing, Lin must have realized that the criminal lord got everything he wanted, even if he wanted him.
Lin probably also understands that he cannot protect himself by building walls in front of life. Whether it was the death of the Australian police officer that brought Lin to the prison or his run-in with Madame Zhou that brought him to Sagar Wada, everything that altered Lin’s life occurred without his knowledge or consent.
After going through such experiences, Lin must have understood that he couldn’t “wish” certain events or things to change his fate. Lin has finally come to terms with fate’s inevitable outcome. His relationship with one of the most influential people in the large Indian metropolis fascinates him.
Lin must find the connection he makes with Khaderbhai freeing because it’s been a while since he had a connection like that. Lin may be trying to escape the weight of loneliness by joining Khaderbhai’s gang to feel like he belongs.
