The complement led to quick speculation, and Akane thought about what she had been doing wrong. She was overestimated by one of her seniors, who complimented her by saying he overestimated her. She didn’t know how to react to that. He was strict with her and didn’t let her slack.
But then again, everyone was in the same boat in that regard, so she didn’t have any reason to complain. However, she couldn’t help but wonder why he thought less of her after a day’s work. By the end of the chapter, she learned she had been too busy following orders while everyone else was learning while working.
