The fourth episode of ‘Link: Eat Love Kill’ begins with Da-hyun ranting about how she has always faced the worst situations in her life because of men. One by one, she goes back to all the incidents in which men have wronged her in one way or another.
While going back in her memory lane, she remembers an incident when she was being bullied by a bunch of kids in her neighborhood, and interestingly this is the same memory that Gye-hoon shared. Now the viewers are left hanging with the question, was Da-hyun friends with Gye-yeong?
After having an awkward interaction with Gye-hoon and laughing everything off, Da-hyun tries to bend the topics in another direction. But Gye-hoon had already got a hold on the real situation. It’s hilarious to watch him telling Da-hyun not to reveal the secret to anyone else.
In another scene, we see Bok-hee and Chun-ok wondering what they should do about the murder request that has been given to them. We also see Gye-hoon confronting Jin-hoo about the DNA test, but it fails when Da-hyun arrives at the restaurant.
After realizing that the knife is missing from the kitchen block Da-hyun and Gye-hoon fall in for another concern-related conversation, and at the same time, Jin-hoo receives a text about the DNA result. We see Gye-hoon going for a walk with Jin-hoo, where the latter asks why he moved to Jihwa-dong. However, nothing is revealed about the DNA result, which weirds the viewers out.
On the way back home, Gye-hoon gets into an argument with Ui-chan and promises that the day he finds out the proof of what he did to his sister, he will come and kill him with his own bare hands.
In all the situations and incidents after, the question still hangs in mid-air, what is the real connection between Da-hyun and Gye-hoon? Does she really have true feelings for him?
Later that night, after having a heart-breaking conversation, we see both Da-hyun and Gye-hoon rushing out of their respective homes. The issue was about Jin-geun’s body. According to Gye-hoon, he is still alive, and Da-hyun wonders if that’s true then why he hasn’t come back for her yet.
Furthermore, after all the confusion, it turns out that Jin-geun indeed survived that night but was run over by Min-cheol.
