In The Dark Season 4 Episode 1 will see how Murphy spent her time in jail. Last time on the show, Murphy spent an entire season looking for Jess. It was not until the finale, we found out that Murphy’s unusual theories were right and Jess was in fact alive. The only problem was Jess never wanted anyone to find out. She wanted to stay dead for the others.
When Jess revealed that she wanted Murphy to move on, it broke Sarah’s heart. Meanwhile, Darnell keeps away from Sarah that Jess is the one who killed Nia. Sarah continues to track Murphy and eventually gets to her. The season comes to a close with Murphy going behind the bars and now the fourth season sees what’s in store for her next.

In The Dark Season 4 Episode 1 will release on 6 June 2022. It is titled, “Bail’s in Your Court”. The official synopsis of the episode suggests we may see how Murphy has adjusted to her life in prison. The unexpected dangers that haunt her during her stay and will she ever be able to get out of this mess.
We wonder if Sarah will ever find out that it was Jess who killed Nia. Apart from that, the official synopsis also teases Max accompanying Leslie and Felix to visit their grandmother. The official promo on the other side sees Murphy continuing to plead not guilty. We also see Murphy being constantly attacked at the prison while her friends try to help her from the outside.
