Chapter 331 starts with Yuno’s heartwarming reunion with his mother, Ciel Grinberryall. The Spade Kingdom welcomes their rightful prince as the hero who saved them from the tyranny of the Dark Triad. The officials of the Spade Kingdom request him to return to his kingdom and take up the responsibilities. However, Yuno bluntly rejects the proposal claiming that the future of the Magic world is still very uncertain. It seems that the battle with Lucifero was only the trailer of a far greater turmoil.
Meanwhile, miles away from the Spade Kingdom, Asta thanks Liebe for showing him the memories of their mother. Knowing that Licita loved him so much is a huge relief for Asta. Liebe too thanks Asta for helping him in avenging Licita’s death. The friendly devil feels so indebted to Asta that he vows to make his dream of becoming the Wizard King someday true.

Julius Zogratis’ Dark Side
The next panel takes us to the Clover Kingdom, where Damnatio Kira is seen concerned about something. He has been researching the devils, especially the ones connected to the Clover Kingdom. Later, he shows up in Julius’ room with the research he has done. According to him, Megicula was never a part of the Qliphoth Tree; rather, she has been there in someone else’s place. Damnatio further explains that the Underworld has three prominent devils: Lucifero with Gravity Magic, Beelzebub with Spatial Magic, and lastly, Astaroth, known for his Time Magic.
Surprisingly, Astaroth, the Time Magic Devil, has been missing from the Underworld for a long time, and that’s why Megicula replaced him. Damnatio suspects that Julius is somehow connected with Astaroth since he is the only person in the world who can use Time Magic. Before Damnatio can interrogate any further, Julius reveals his true face and kills him in an instant. Immediately after that, Adrammelech arrives to inform him that everything has been going according to their plan.
