About Kokyu no Karasu
Kokyu no Karasu literally means “Raven in the Inner Palace,” is a Japanese light novel series. The light novel is written by Koko Shirakawa and illustrated by Ayuko. It was published by Shueisha Publications and was serialized in Shueisha Orange Bunko. The light novel was released on 20th April 2018 and till now has been collected into 6 volumes. Back in 2021, an anime adaption based on the light novel was announced that is finally ready to make its way to the fans. As it is mentioned above that the series is a historical and ancient one it will take us back to the time when queens and kings were ruling the lands. Kokyu no Karasu light novel has had a decent fan following since the day it is released, and that is what is making the anime one of the most awaited.
Plot
One series is said to be successful when it gives the right amount of entertainment and interest in its plot. The main protagonist of the series is a consort of the king named Raven. She lives deep within the palace and is said not to serve the king despite her position. She is one of those rare people who are hard to be seen, and this created a lot of talks throughout the palace.
The people who have seen her say that she looks like an old woman while some say that she is a young girl. The plot of the series takes along the path where it tells how Raven uses some mysterious magical powers. She takes up some requests, whether it is related to death curses or finding the lost things. The current emperor Koushun visits Raven with some intentions, but their fated meeting became a taboo and overturned the history.
Kyokyu no Karasu Anime Teaser and Release Date
Kyokyu no Karasu anime was announced on 14th December 2021, and was later confirmed that it is going to be produced by Bandai Namco Pictures. As per the latest news, the main staff of the series has been announced that including Chizuru Miyawaki as Director. The screenplay is given by Satomi Ooshima, and the Music is given by Asami Tachibana.
The main voice cast of the series has also been announced that including Saku Mizuno as Jusetsu Ryu, Masaaki Mizunaka as Koshun ka, Taku Yashiro as Sei Ei, and Marika Kouno as Jiujiu. Kyokyu no Karasu anime is slated for October 2022, and now its first teaser video is out.

The teaser is 1 minute and 7 seconds long and, believe me, it’s literally mesmerizing. The teaser gave us the visuals of Raven, who also gave a little display of her magical powers. Other than her, two more characters were there in the teaser. Everything looks so beautiful while soothing guzheng music plays in the background.
