The prolonged wait is going to be over for fans as King Khan has been rapped down for a movie that will reportedly be directed by notable director Rajkumar Hirani. Fans got to see a brand new video revealed showing Khan asking Hirani if he has any future projects the actor could star in, to which the director proposes Dunki which was jokingly misheard as Donkey in the video.

The Director Further Confirms The Big Project On Twitter!
Shah Rukh Khan expressed his gratitude as he started how he is feeling humbled and excited to finally work with the prolific director. Khan took to his Instagram with the post accompanying the video. The film is slated to release on December 22, 2023. It seems like fans will get an early Christmas gift. Here’s the announcement video post that the production house posted while confirming the big news.
The director also expressed his happiness as he admitted that Shah Rukh Khan has always been on his wish list and after trying to collaborate several times in the past, they were finally destined to have ‘Dunki’ to mark their partnership. The director further added the energy, charisma, humor, and charm that the actor brings to a film is unparalleled and Hirani is excited and is looking forward to bringing that magic to the big screen. The film might be clashing with a few big banner movies as well.
Other than SRK, Taapsee Pannu will also be starting in the movie as she started about being beyond excited to embark on this journey and be a part of this very special film. The actress further admitted that she is extremely excited to work with Rajkumar Hirani and Shah Rukh Khan, as these are the two people who she deeply respects and admires.
