It seems like rap star Cardi B is not having it anymore! The artist has recently deleted her social media account after facing some major backlash from haters. She also stated that she needs to protect herself before deleting her social media. Several fans backlashed the rapper while claiming she earlier dropped hints that she would be attending the annual ceremony. However, Cardi B has vehemently denied these claims.
The Bodak Yellow hitmaker expressed her anger after many aimed at her and her kids. This surely did not sit well with Cardi B as she called them out while making it clear that it was not right to drag her children into all this. The hateful comments might have enraged the rapper while compelling her to delete social media accounts.
Cardi B Explains Why She Skipped This Year’s Grammys!
The rapper, however, explained that she was absent from this year’s Grammys. Cardi B issued an eight-minute video as she addressed all the hateful comments and did set to record straight. She explained that it didn’t make much sense given the fact that she does not have any new music while further adding that why would she show up with one nomination.

The Up hitmaker also revealed that she skipped the Grammys this year as she is busy working on new music and that she is prepping hard for it as the album needs to be finished on time. With a busy schedule, the rapper did not get much time to attend the Grammys this year. Cardi B had earlier hinted at the fact that she might release the follow-up to her studio album, Invasion of Privacy, this year. However, she did not appreciate it when fans kept on pushing her with hateful comments.
While Cardi B was not present for this year’s Grammy, the rapper assured fans that she was doing a red carpet soon and teased that it was going to be great. However, she clapped back at people who dragged her husband and kids into the blame game! The rapper admitted that she hates it when people call her lazy because she works so hard.
