Mall Cop Filming Locations
The production of Mall Cop started in February of 2008 in Boston and lasted till mid of April of the same year for the decoration of the Mall. You will be amazed to know that the film received a denial from Willowbrook Mall, located in Wayne, New Jersey. After which, almost all the filming was done at the Burlington Mall, Burlington, located in Massachusetts.
In the movie, you must have seen the aerial stunts like when Simms tried to rob the Mall, and when Blart got attacked in the elevator, all were filmed at the South Shore Plaza, located in Braintree, Massachusetts. The set was built around the Mall, which includes a Santa Village.

Mall Cop Summary
Mall Cop is a man whose name was Paul Blart. He was a single father of a teenage daughter, Maya. Paul was living with his mother and his daughter. Paul had a dream of joining the New Jersey State Police, but because of his low sugar level, he could not qualify for the exam. Later he joined a mall as a security guard.
Blart had a crush on Amy, who was a vendor. He was giving training to a new hire Veck Simms, who, according to him, was not interested in the job. Blart took Amy to dinner along with the other employees of the Mall. But the party got ruined when he mistakenly fell off of a window after drinking too much.
Two days later, a group came to rob the Mall. They took Amy along with other employees inside the bank hostage. Later they got to know that the leader of the group was none other than Kent. Blart helped persuade some employees and called the police. When he got to know that Amy was still in the Mall, he went inside it again. The police force arrived, whose chief officer Janes Kent ordered Blart to let them handle the situation.
Eventually, Maya arrived at the Mall, unaware of everything happening there. Simm immediately seized her and added her to the hostage.
In the end, Simm was trying to escape the Cayman Islands. After some fight, Kent pulls out his gun on Blart. This revealed that Kent was also a gang member of the group. Before Kent could shoot Blart, the mall security team arrived and shot Kent in the arm. Moments later, Blart declined the offer of joining the New Jersey State Police and married Amy in the Mall.
