KBS2 is set to reveal a thrilling new daily drama titled The Queen’s House (literal title), promising viewers a compelling story of love, betrayal, and relentless revenge.
With a star-studded cast including T-ara’s Ham Eun Jung, Seo Jun Young, Park Yoon Jae, and Lee Ga Ryung, the drama is already generating buzz ahead of its April premiere.
The Queen’s House centers on Kang Jae In (played by Ham Eun Jung), a woman who seemingly has it all — a successful career, a loving family, and a picture-perfect life.
As the youngest design team leader at YL Group, she comes from an enviable background but has always longed for a simple, ordinary life.
Jae In finds what she believes is true happiness after meeting and marrying the love of her life.
However, her idyllic world comes crashing down when a shocking event leaves her with nothing, forcing her onto a dark path of revenge as she fights desperately to reclaim her stolen happiness.
Seo Jun Young portrays Kim Do Yoon, a talented cardiothoracic surgeon known for his warm and easygoing nature.
Despite his gentle demeanor, he is fiercely focused in the operating room. Tragedy strikes when he loses someone precious in a devastating accident, igniting a deep desire for vengeance that will intertwine his fate with Jae In’s.
Park Yoon Jae takes on the role of Hwang Ki Chan, Jae In’s ambitious husband and director of YL Group’s Strategic Planning Team.
Though determined to cement his position in the powerful YL family, Ki Chan’s relationship with his formidable mother-in-law constantly tests his limits.
As tensions rise within his marriage, Ki Chan’s desperation drives him to take shocking actions that will intensify the drama’s suspense.
Adding more complexity to the story is Lee Ga Ryung as Kang Se Ri, Jae In’s childhood friend and a fellow designer at YL Group.
Their bond, once unbreakable, begins to fracture when Se Ri learns a life-changing secret from her mother.
Harboring hidden ambitions, Se Ri’s growing envy transforms her into an unexpected antagonist, threatening Jae In’s already crumbling world.
Directed by Hong Seok Gu and Hong Eun Mi of Beauty and Mr. Romantic fame and written by Kim Min Joo, known for hit daily dramas like Gold Mask and Sunny Again Tomorrow, The Queen’s House promises a classic yet emotionally charged revenge saga full of twists, betrayals, and power struggles.
As the characters’ lives collide in a web of secrets and lies, viewers can expect an intense narrative exploring the destructive power of ambition and the lengths one will go to protect — or destroy — what they love.
The drama is slated to premiere in April 2025. Fans of gripping family revenge dramas won’t want to miss it!
