During her appearance on BIGBANG Daesung’s YouTube show, Zip Daesung, BLACKPINK’s Lisa briefly discussed the group’s upcoming promotions, leading to a wave of concern and criticism from fans.
When Daesung asked whether BLACKPINK would be appearing on variety shows or interviews, Lisa responded,
“BLACKPINK rarely appears on shows.”
While the exchange was lighthearted, it left fans worried about another minimal promotion cycle like their 2022 comeback, Born Pink. Fan Reactions:
“Is this confirmation that the new comeback will have bad promotions again?”
“It’s over… We’re never seeing them on TV again.”
“I NEED them in interviews! The four of them together is a whole different vibe.”
“If we’re not getting proper promo, they can keep that album.”

Many BLINKs directed their frustration at YG Entertainment, pointing out that while each member actively promotes their solo work, the group as a whole still lacks proper variety show appearances, music show performances, and interviews.
“We all know YG is the problem. As soloists, they’re everywhere.”
“Just one music show performance? That’s all YG ever does.”
“They need proper promotions, not another Born Pink situation.”
With BLACKPINK’s comeback on the horizon, fans are demanding more engagement, performances, and interviews—but will YG listen?
