Actress Han Ga In has spoken out to clarify a misunderstanding regarding her recent appearance on tvN’s ‘You Quiz on the Block’ and the luxury outfit she wore.
On March 1, Han Ga In shared a screenshot of an article that reported her ensemble—consisting of high-end clothing and accessories worth tens of millions of KRW—was personally owned by her. She quickly corrected the misconception, writing,
“Oh no… everything is sponsored. They’re not mine.”

This is not the first time Han Ga In has had to clarify public misinterpretations. Previously, during her appearance on You Quiz, she also addressed misconceptions about her parenting style.
Due to her image, many assumed she was a strict ‘tiger mom’ who pushed her children into intensive academic pursuits. However, she emphasized,
“That is absolutely not the case.”
Han Ga In stated that she does not force her children to attend private academies and wants them to find their own passions. She shared,
“I only realized what I truly like after turning forty. That’s because I didn’t get to experience much when I was young. I hope my children can discover what they love at an earlier age.”
Recently, a comedy parody by comedian Lee Soo Ji poking fun at intense academic parenting in Daechi-dong caused Han Ga In’s past YouTube video—where she drove her kids to and from school—to resurface.
This led to backlash, with some labeling her as an ‘overbearing parent.’ In response to the wave of negative comments, she made the video private.

Despite these controversies, Han Ga In continues to share insights into her life through her personal YouTube channel, ‘Free-Spirited Wife Han Ga In.’
Han Ga In married actor Yeon Jung Hoon in 2005, and the couple has a son and a daughter.
