Nakamura Teruaki recently transferred to Okinawa, a place known for its beautiful beaches, warm weather, and unique culture. As he tries to adjust to his new surroundings, he finds himself falling in love with a girl named Kyan.
She is cheerful, kind, and full of energy, making it impossible for him to ignore his growing feelings. However, there is one big problem—he does not understand her dialect.
Okinawa has a distinct way of speaking that is different from standard Japanese. Many words and phrases are unfamiliar to Nakamura, making it difficult for him to have smooth conversations with Kyan. Luckily, Higa, one of Nakamura’s classmates, is always there to help. Higa understands both the Okinawan dialect and standard Japanese, so he often acts as an interpreter between Nakamura and Kyan.
