Tatsuhiko once dreamed of becoming an animator, spending his childhood sketching and creating stories. But relentless teasing from his classmates crushed his passion, and he abandoned his dream. Instead, he found solace in music, joining his friends to form a band.
For a time, music became his new purpose. However, when the band eventually broke up, Tatsuhiko grew cynical, convincing himself that chasing dreams was pointless.
One evening, while mocking a friend’s ambitions, Tatsuhiko had an unexpected encounter. A drunk woman overheard his harsh words and confronted him on the street. She angrily called him out for his negativity, challenging his defeatist attitude. Her words stuck with him, stirring something he thought he had buried long ago.
Haunted by her outburst, Tatsuhiko decided to revisit his childhood passion. Nervously, he created a short two-minute animation and uploaded it online. To his surprise, the video gained attention, and he was contacted by Nico, an independent artist whose work he had admired for years. Nico expressed interest in collaborating with him on an animated music video for her latest song.
Beat & Motion Plot
