Nagi will be going through a little change after his date with Ai in The Cuckoo’s Fiancee Chapter 210. The male lead had been getting attention from all sorts of girls, but among them, Ai was the sweetest of them all. She is pretty forward with her intentions with Nagi and doesn’t use any deception to get his attention.
In the last chapter, we saw Ai asking Nagi out for a date under the pretense of practice for her acting session. Nagi, being the good-hearted person he was, complied, not knowing that Ai had hidden intentions beneath her actions. Even when Ai showcases her affection towards him later in the chapter, he is still oblivious to all that goes on in the girl’s head.

The show era was between 1926 and 1989, a period where one particular technology was absent from today’s age: the smartphone. Throughout their date, the two had to rid themselves of their smartphone and rely on city maps to find their way around.
Both Ai and Nagi were terrible with directions and relied on their phones to do the trick. Despite that, they were able to get around places, albeit it took them a little longer, and it was memorable to Ai nonetheless. Ai made sure to have her reward from the date by the end of it by giving her first to Nagi.
