Henry and Martha’s story will come to a close in SPY x FAMILY Chapter 101 and Martha returns to her country. Martha had been part of the force that had been sent to the enemy camps in the name of war. Henry was devastated by the news and had lost his will to live, but it quickly turned into rage.
While Henry wanted to stand up against the authorities for what they had done, he was beaten down for speaking up. And it was then that the teacher realized what he needed to do to ensure the well-being of the future. He took a different approach to teaching, making sure that his students grow up to be people with kind hearts.
One of the tragic things that happened during this was Henry’s hand being forced to marriage to those close to him. Martha had supposedly died in the attack to save the country, and knowing that his future with her was lost, he tied the knot with someone else. All the while being unaware that Martha had survived the attack.
Martha woke up in a village belonging to the enemy state, she was confused at first but that changed soon after. The homeowner was someone who had lost her family to war a year prior, no longer blind to the rage being spewed on her country. Martha cried on her way back home when she found a map in her backpack, courtesy of the old lady who nursed her.
