Leon takes a backseat once again as one of his subordinates takes the spotlight in The Knight King Who Returned With a God Chapter 67. The series does a good job of giving the spotlight to other characters while not making Leon look like a support in his series. And it is because of this element that all the characters fit in well within the story.
The last chapter started with an explanation of what Grail Knights were and what makes them different. While other people were bound by the power they trained for, Grail Knights derived their power from their devotion. Which gave them the ability to go on without food and sleep, fighting till their goals were accomplished.
The enemy camp was frustrated as to how it only took two Grail Knights to turn the war around. One of the commanders was so frustrated that he started screaming about how they had numbers on their side, and yet they were failing miserably. But those cries were cut short when someone threw in the strongest monster in their vicinity.
Helkan’s Champion had come in to ask why hadn’t the attack taken place already, and what was the reason for their incompetence. The old leader was shocked by this display but became speechless when he realized that the adversary in front of him was like nothing he had faced. Helkan’s champion told the old man that they needed to start their attack tomorrow, but that plan was interrupted when they received a letter from Leon.
