Drew McIntyre isn’t letting up on his social media attacks, especially when it comes to CM Punk. Despite losing the championship at WrestleMania 40, McIntyre is still firing shots at his rivals.
The rivalry between McIntyre and Punk is hotter than ever. At WrestleMania, Punk cost McIntyre the title after his match with Seth Rollins. This allowed Damian Priest to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase and win the championship.
Since then, McIntyre and Punk have been going back and forth online, with each jab escalating the feud.
McIntyre vs. Punk Heats Up Online
Today, CM Punk announced he’s back in a WWE video game and playfully told McIntyre to play as him. McIntyre responded on Twitter, calling Punk “washed up.” He went on to say that he makes other wrestlers, including Punk, step up their game.
McIntyre tweeted: “Seth Rollins – took himself beyond the limit against me. Jey Uso – Had to use more than 2 moves against me. CM Punk – Is showing he ain’t washed (he is) against me. Damian Priest – Finally proved he has some chops… against me.
I’m the one setting the bar on Raw. I’m bringing out the best in others. The Champion without my championship. Stop me when I’m telling lies.”
