The Undertaker, a WWE icon with an unmatched career, recently revealed a surprising fact – he thought he might have wrestled more matches after facing AJ Styles!
Remember the epic Boneyard Match at WrestleMania 36? That was The Undertaker’s last official match, where he defeated Styles in a critically acclaimed cinematic masterpiece.
During a recent Q&A session on Patreon, The Undertaker confessed that he initially felt he could’ve continued wrestling after the Styles match.
However, he didn’t have any specific opponents in mind at the time. His focus was solely on preparing for a traditional match with Styles. It was only after the Boneyard Match that he realized his body wouldn’t allow him to compete at that level anymore.
Interestingly, even AJ Styles tried to convince The Undertaker to come out of retirement, but to no avail. The Deadman recently signed a new Legends deal with WWE, solidifying his presence with the company for years to come.
While he won’t be in the ring anymore, fans can still expect to see The Undertaker involved with WWE in other ways.
