The manga adaptation of Hifumi Asakura’s light novel series “The Daily Life of a Middle-Aged Online Shopper in Another World” (Arafō Otoko no Isekai Tsūhan Seikatsu) will conclude in the May issue of Square Enix’s Monthly G Fantasy magazine, scheduled for release on May 17th.
Published digitally by Square Enix’s Manga UP! Global and Comikey, the manga is also available on Kadokawa’s BookWalker Global Store. The story follows Ken’ichi, a single man nearing 40, who finds himself suddenly transported to another world.
As he explores this new world’s dangerous forests, he discovers the ability to use a vast online shopping site. With this newfound power, Ken’ichi aims to live a leisurely life in another world.
The manga adaptation, illustrated by Umiharu, began serialization in Monthly G Fantasy in April 2019. Square Enix has released seven compiled volumes of the manga since its debut, with the most recent volume published on February 27th.
Asakura originally published the light novel series on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in 2017, concluding it in June 2021. SB Creative released the first volume of the light novel series, illustrated by Yamakawa, in May 2018, followed by the third volume in April 2019.
