The last episode was about Mito’s beginning at Hijirigaoka Boys’ Academy. She met new friends who didn’t know about Ruka being a vampire. Also, she bumped into Ren, who was curious why she chose to be with him.
Mito Yamamoto is a very handsome man, so much so that women come to the restaurant where he works every day.
But when the restaurant owner decides he’s had enough, he fires Mito, leaving him without a job and with nowhere to live.
Shortly after losing his job, Mito finds himself in a cafe where he accidentally gets a cut on his hand from broken glass.
A mysterious man named Ruka Saotome offers to help with the wound, but surprisingly, he licks Mito’s blood and says it tastes awful before telling Mito to go away.
That night, Mito slips off a building’s roof by accident, but luckily, Ruka catches him. It’s then that Ruka reveals his true self he’s a vampire.
Ruka tells Mito that a man’s blood tastes bad, and the blood of someone unloved is even worse. Since Ruka can’t drink from girls, he’s been searching for a handsome boy to be his thrall.
He suggests that Mito take on this role, letting Ruka’s affections ripen his blood. Mito agrees and moves in with Ruka at the Hijirigaoka Boys’ Academy dormitory, but it turns out Mito is actually a girl.
Recap
In episode 2 of Vampire Dormitory, Mito wakes up in Ruka’s room and screams, but Ruka ignores her and drinks her blood.
Komori lends Mito a Hijirigaoka Boys’ Academy uniform. Mito finds Ren intriguing, and they share a long stare.
Ruka takes Mito to the cafe where he works part-time. It turns out many students from her class work there too. Ruka offers her a chance to earn some fast cash.
Takara was friendly and offered to help Mito, while Juri was cold to her. Later on, Mito and Juri bumped into each other and Juri asked Mito what she was up to.
Mito moved suddenly, knocking over a pot but Ruka came in just in time to save her. That evening, Juri apologized to Mito and Mito also met Ren.
At first, Ren and Mito didn’t hit it off, but they started to get to know each other. During judo training, Ren noticed a bite mark on Mito’s neck.
He pulled her aside and questioned why she was with a vampire like Ruka. Ren spoke harshly about vampires, making Mito respond in defense.
She later apologized and Ren did the same, saying he wanted to protect her from danger. Meanwhile, Ruka listened quietly as the two talked.
Expectation
In the next episode, we might see Ruka and Mito getting even closer and Ruka starting to realize that Mito is actually a girl. The second episode felt fuller because Mito interacted with more people, not just Ruka.
Now that Ren is curious about Mito’s life with Ruka, fans can look forward to exciting things in the upcoming episodes.
