Damien Leone is bringing back Art the Clown in the third Terrifier movie. The first film, made with a budget of just $35,000 in 2018, quickly gained popularity among indie horror fans for its intense violence and practical effects.
This success led to the creation of Terrifier 2, which had a larger budget and was funded through crowdfunding, raising over $250,000. Now, Terrifier 3 is in the works with an even bigger budget. Priscilla Smith, the president of The Coven, a French distribution company, has confirmed it will have a low-mid seven-figure budget.
