Celebrating the tenth anniversary of the anime adaptation of “No Game No Life,” author Yuu Kamiya took to Twitter on April 9, 2024, expressing his strong desire for a second season, much to the excitement of hardcore anime fans.
“It’s the tenth anniversary of No Game No Life. Please make a second season!” Kamiya tweeted, igniting enthusiasm within the fandom.
The absence of a Season 2 has become a running joke among fans, but with other shows like Classroom of the Elite receiving multiple seasons, fans are hopeful for the same treatment for No Game No Life.
“No Game No Life” originated as a Japanese light novel series authored by Yuu Kamiya, published under the MF Bunko J imprint. Spanning twelve novels from April 25, 2012, to February 25, 2023, the series gained significant attention worldwide.

Kamiya and his wife, Mashiro Hiiragi, adapted the novels into a manga series for Monthly Comic Alive in 2013. The excitement continued with an anime adaptation by Madhouse, premiering on AT-X between April and July 2014 and simulcast worldwide by Crunchyroll.
The franchise expanded further with an anime film adaptation of the sixth volume titled “No Game, No Life Zero,” debuting on July 15, 2017.
In addition to the main series, a spinoff manga titled “No Game No Life, Please!” focused on the character Izuna, grabbing readers from May 27, 2015, to November 27, 2017.

“They are both NEETs and Hikikomoris… but on the internet, the genius gamer siblings Sora and Shiro are known as the undefeatable ‘___’ (blank).
