Hajime Isayama, the mastermind behind Attack on Titan, hasn’t been resting on his laurels since concluding the epic manga series a couple of years ago, followed by the anime bidding its farewell last year.
After a well-deserved break, Isayama is diving back into the creative realm with a brand-new manga titled Soyogi Fractal.
Teaming up with Yuki Kaji, the voice actor renowned for his portrayal of Eren Yeager, Isayama announced their latest venture. Soyogi Fractal was conceived by Kaji, inspired by his illustrious voice-acting career, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. The collaboration between Kaji and Isayama promises an intriguing narrative.

Recently, Isayama offered fans a glimpse of his artwork for Soyogi Fractal, showcasing his signature style. While Isayama will oversee the story and initial drafts, he won’t handle the full art duties. Instead, a contest will be held to select an illustrator to work alongside Isayama in bringing Kaji’s vision to fruition.
The manga one-shot is scheduled for a summer release, with Isayama expressing eagerness to return to work after his hiatus.
