The 35-year-old “Biggest Fan” singer, Adam Doleac and his wife MacKinnon joyfully announced on Instagram the arrival of their first child, a son named Jack. They took to Instagram to share the news, posting a series of photos featuring their newborn son.
In the first image, the elated parents stand beside Jack in his stroller outside the hospital.
Additional photos captured tender moments, with MacKinnon smiling as she cradled Jack on her chest in the hospital bed.
Adam stood beside her in one image, beaming with pride, while in another, he gently held their swaddled son.
The couple shared intimate moments through short videos, including a heartwarming moment of Adam holding a Polaroid of MacKinnon and Jack. With a gentle touch, he lowers the photo to capture a serene moment between mother and son in real-time.
“Welcome to the planet, Jack Mackinnon Doleac. 3/23/24 9lbs, 6 oz. We already love you more than we even knew we could,” Adam began in the caption.
“@macdoleac I am in complete awe of you. You are already the best momma to our (not so) little boy. Our lives will never be the same, and there’s nothing more exciting than that.”
In a January interview, Adam and MacKinnon disclosed their excitement about expecting a baby boy and expressed anticipation for the memories they would create together as a family.
They shared their overflowing excitement for their son’s future while also cherishing the present moment.
“I think we are most excited just becoming parents at all! It is a dream we have both always had, and it is wild to think it’s only a matter of weeks away,” Adam shared at the time.
“I hear so often that having a baby flips your world upside down. While to some that can be more of a scary thing, I think the both of us are really excited for that flip, and everything that comes with it.”
The couple initially shared their joyful pregnancy news in December, expressing their excitement about envisioning a future where they travel together as a family.
“We talk about it all the time. The music industry is tough and unpredictable and anything but easy, but it’s definitely our dream to be able to bring a separate bus out and tour the country with our little family,” Adam said.
“I know if the fans had their way, MacKinnon would be at every single show. I think she has more fans than I do,” he laughed. “But we love being able to do that together. Our communication, our lives are just easier and better when we are able to be together.”
“We’re praying and trying to manifest that time together with our family, and that this music coming out is going to lead us to that point where we get to have those experiences together.”
