It is, to paraphrase Davia, the end of an age. Good Trouble Season 5 Episode 20 signaled the end of a franchise as well as a farewell to the show with a heavy heart and a taste of bittersweetness. Because of this, the unexpected conclusion had twice the effect, as characters who we’ve followed for a whole decade bid farewell, maybe for good.
Saying goodbye to a series that has endured this long is never easy. In a field where shows are sometimes canceled before they have a chance to tell their tales, Good Trouble’s five-season run is an impressive accomplishment.
Furthermore, even the most ardent and devoted viewers of this show frequently concur that the conclusion of the series was inevitable. It doesn’t, however, lessen the weight of this loss or the fact that the actors and crew did the best they could in a hurried ending to bring things to a close and say these characters farewell.
Recap
Perfectly executed was the last montage with Cierra Ramirez and Maia Mitchell throughout the years, from The Fosters to the heartbreaking conclusion of Good Trouble. Ultimately, that’s what most of us fans are most drawn to, especially those of us who have followed their path since The Fosters.
These two incredible sisters are the focal point of Good Trouble and the stories; they are the group’s heart and soul and have grown from awkward teenagers to stunning, wise, successful, and mature young ladies. To truly capture the extent of Callie Adams Foster’s journey since our initial meeting, the series’ finale is necessary.
She is a truly remarkable character whose path has left its mark on the vast canvas of television; she is a figure who, like Veronica Mars for the generation before her, has inspired, impacted, and resonated with a new generation.
For a character noted at times for her codependency, Mariana’s ability to lead this series on her own and hold her own was crucial to demonstrate.
It’s indisputable that Cierra Ramirez has produced such amazing, heartbreaking, and emotionally breathtaking work with whatever plot was thrown at her, despite how dark and divisive Good Trouble Season 5 has been.
The extent to which she has developed as an actress is continually brought to light by witnessing her portrayal over some of these challenging arcs. The fact that Good Trouble is coming to an end and, with it, her portrayal of a role she has lived for ten years, is sad.
But my goodness, I can’t wait to watch where this young lady’s career takes her. From her teenage years till now, we’ve had the honor of witnessing how she’s refined her art. with a fair industry, the world ought to be her oyster, whether she chooses to pursue acting or keeps dabbling with directing.
