After a year of exchanging flirty Instagram comments and maintaining a coy stance on their relationship status, Meghann Fahy and Leo Woodall have made it official.
Fahy took to Instagram on Tuesday to share a photo of herself and Woodall strolling arm in arm, thereby confirming their romantic involvement.
This announcement arrives over a year following intense speculation among fans of The White Lotus regarding the potential romance between the co-stars. Fahy and Woodall, who portrayed Daphne and Jack respectively in the show’s second season, had been subject to ongoing speculation and anticipation from their followers.
In the shared photo, Fahy is seen with her arm encircling Woodall’s waist, reciprocated by his arm draped over her shoulder.
Although neither of them faces the camera directly, Fahy’s caption, consisting of a smiley face, a blue heart, and a slice of pizza, aptly encapsulates the moment. Woodall, confirming the sentiment, liked the post and humorously commented, “Who is he?!” (For clarity, he’s also tagged).
When The White Lotus concluded its second season in December 2022, both actors shared glimpses of their time filming in Italy, some of which depicted them sharing a notably friendly rapport. Despite such visual cues, inquiries regarding their relationship status were deftly sidestepped.
Even following the emergence of photos capturing them sharing a kiss in the streets of New York in November, Fahy maintained her evasive stance when questioned by Entertainment Tonight last month.
She reiterated her reluctance to either confirm or deny her relationship with Woodall. In the same interview, Fahy cryptically remarked that Italy had proven to be “very good” for her “in more than one way.”
It’s intriguing to note that The White Lotus evidently offers opportunities for love beyond its suspenseful plotlines.
