In addition, there are two rose ceremonies at the end of Tuesday’s program. And before you believed that the turmoil involving Sydney and Maria would end, you should reconsider. The Tuesday episode continues where Monday’s left off, with Maria losing it at the fact that Lea is spearheading an attack on her.
Madina decides to console her and reassure her that she won’t treat her badly just because Lea says she should, even if the other women appear to be avoiding that circumstance like the plague. Lea is venting to Joey about how much she despises Maria, although it’s not apparent why they are doing this given that Maria already has a rose.
Joey offers roses to Kelsey A., Katelyn, Daisy, Rachel, Jenn, Autumn, Jess, Madina, and Lea at the rose ceremony. Since Edwina and Allison are sent packing, Maria, Lexi, and Kelsey T. already have roses. The next stop on Joey’s journey is Andalusia, Spain, with his remaining women.
Recap
After welcoming the women with a glass of sangria, Joey whisks Kelsey A. aside for a private meeting. Following her departure, Maria questions the group about whether they would have used Lea’s one-on-one thieving card if they had been given the chance and if they would have done it right then and there to ride off on a Vespa with Joey.
This week’s dates are comparatively uneventful. During the day, Kelsey and Joey stroll about Spain, savoring regional cuisine and wines, playing soccer with children, and strengthening their bond. Though Kelsey admits that she’s not quite sure, she’s definitely starting to feel something for Joey. Joey, meantime, seemed to be rather enamored.
When suppertime comes, Kelsey tells Joey about her mother, who passed away approximately ten years ago due to breast cancer. She claims that having to picture being engaged and having a wedding without her mother present has made this process difficult for her.
Joey tells her that he will support her to the extent that she requires it and is quite receptive. A rose is given to Kelsey. Lexi, Daisy, Jenn, Autumn, Maria, Katelyn, Madina, Lea, Jess, and Kelsey T. win the group date. Thus, Rachel is awarded the second one-on-one.
I’m not kidding when I claim that Lea complains about Maria’s presence the entire group date. At a villa where they will be exploring their inner artistic selves, the group meets Joey. Each of them has to come up with a quote that best expresses how they feel about Joey. Joey is then required to attempt to determine what the quote is, once they have painted a picture of it.
It is preferable that he be closer. Joey will spend more time with the winner. Even though they’re all amateur painters, Jess wins. As her reward, Joey and she get to make their “first piece of art as a couple” by stripping down to their bathing suits and rolling around in paint.
