Taylor Swift attended Travis Kelce’s victory celebration with her parents following the Kansas City Chiefs’ triumph over the San Francisco 49ers in the 2024 Super Bowl on Sunday. Swift, along with Kelce, who is also 34, joined the victorious team and her parents, Scott and Andrea Swift, for a night of dancing at Zouk nightclub in Resorts World, Las Vegas.
Acknowledging the unconventional nature of the celebration, Swift humorously encouraged everyone to give it a try. In a TikTok video shared by the Grammy winner, she playfully joked about partying with her parents.
Swift initially focused her camera on her Super Bowl champion boyfriend, amusingly remarking, “It’s a friends and family party, they said.” She then shifted the lens to capture her parents engrossed in conversation in the booth, with the caption stating, “Bring your parents they said.” Concluding the video with a sheepish smile, Swift humorously highlighted the unconventional scenario they found themselves in at the club.
Captioning the TikTok video, she quipped, “Accidentally going clubbing with your parents is something everyone should try at least once in their life.”
The couple delighted fans by singing along to some of Swift’s Fearless hits, such as “Love Story” and “You Belong with Me.”
In a separate TikTok video, The Chainsmokers took over the DJ booth and treated the crowd to Swift’s 2008 smash hit “You Belong with Me,” paying tribute to both the Chiefs’ triumph and Swift’s presence at the club.
Kelce was captured enthusiastically singing along to the song in the video. As the tight end reached the chorus, he playfully altered the lyrics, adding his own twist to the rendition.
“Are you in love with me?” he sang in the video as he pointed to himself, instead of singing, “You belong with me.” Kelce was in the DJ booth with The Chainsmokers at the time and danced along to the club remix of the song before pulling Drew Taggert into a hug.
“I didn’t know if I should play it or not,” Taggert said to Kelce, per a caption in the video.
Although Swift wasn’t visible in The Chainsmokers’ video, Keleigh Teller offered another perspective on TikTok. Swift could be seen singing along, gesturing and raising her glass, seemingly directing her attention towards Kelce as the lyrics “Why can’t you see/you belong with me” resonated through the club.
The Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 at Allegiant Stadium, securing back-to-back Lombardi Trophies.
