Travis Kelce secured his victory in the 2024 Super Bowl with a celebratory kiss from Taylor Swift!
After the Chiefs clinched victory over the San Francisco 49ers with a score of 25-22 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, securing their third Super Bowl win in five seasons, 34-year-old Kelce sought out Swift on the field. They shared multiple kisses, embracing and reveling in the triumph.
Kelce and Swift initially sparked dating speculation in September 2023, when the “Cruel Summer” singer made her inaugural appearance at a Chiefs game. Now, at her 13th attendance, the songstress marked the win with a display of affection.
She was observed telling Kelce that the game was “unbelievable,” as he earned his third championship ring.
Immediately following their victory, Kelce, alongside quarterback Patrick Mahomes and coach Andy Reid, celebrated with brief speeches. Kelce exclaimed to the stadium, “Chiefs Kingdom … how about a little Viva Las Vegas . . . viva Las Vegas….”
“The goal [has] always been to get three,” said Kelce. “Believe it, baby, we’re gonna be here next year.” He added- “Family forever, I can’t be more proud of you guys.”
In the early stages of the fourth quarter, 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy linked up with wide receiver Jauan Jennings for a touchdown. However, kicker Jake Moody’s extra point attempt was blocked, leaving the score at 16-13.
Kansas City responded by kicking a field goal, leveling the score at 16 with less than 5 minutes remaining. With under 2 minutes left, Moody’s 53-yard field goal granted the 49ers a slight advantage at 19-16. However, the Chiefs rallied, securing a field goal in the closing moments of regulation to equalize at 19, forcing overtime. Throughout the game, both two-time Super Bowl MVP Mahomes and second-year quarterback Purdy faced challenges against formidable defenses.
After the game, the NFL tweeted in celebration of the Kansas City team and shared a heartwarming snapshot of the couple sharing a kiss on the field. “The Super Bowl smooch hits differently,” the league shared.
The superstar singer-songwriter arrived on Sunday with her mom Andrea Swift and dad Scott Swift, accompanied by her group of close friends.
Kelce’s parents, Donna and Ed Kelce, his brother Jason Kelce, and sister-in-law Kylie Kelce, join the NFL star’s entourage in Las Vegas, alongside the Swifts, cheering him on.
The Super Bowl marks Swift’s 13th Chiefs game, her favorite number. With her presence, the Chiefs boast a remarkable nine wins. Following the Chiefs-Ravens matchup, Travis and Taylor celebrated on the field with a warm hug and a kiss.
