In a recent video titled ‘BABYMONSTER NEXT PHASE | YG Announcement’ on their official YouTube channel, Yang Hyun-suk, the head of YG Entertainment, shared exciting news about what’s in store for BABYMONSTER in 2024.
The chief producer disclosed that BABYMONSTER is poised to release a new song on February 1, signaling the commencement of their activities for the year.
Yet, when asked about Ahyeon’s return, Yang Hyun-suk revealed that Ahyeon had to temporarily pause training for a few months due to health issues. Consequently, BABYMONSTER debuted on November 27th with six members instead of the originally intended seven.
Yang Hyun-suk clarified that Ahyeon’s return date remains uncertain, assuring fans that she is not departing from the group. He emphasized that details about Ahyeon’s comeback will be disclosed to the public at the appropriate time.
Initially, BABYMONSTER was planned as a seven-member girl group, but Ahyeon couldn’t participate in the debut due to health issues.
Despite this setback, it’s evident that the group and their management eagerly anticipate Ahyeon’s return once she has fully recovered.
Fans can now look forward to BABYMONSTER’s upcoming song in February, and stay tuned for updates on Ahyeon’s return. The group’s journey persists, with members actively preparing for the next phase of their thrilling music career.
