While referring to the Bills coach, Sean McDermott, “All-time classic again. Anytime we play Sean’s teams, it comes right down to the end,” said Andy Reid, coach of the Chiefs.

Mahomes was at 17 of 23 for 215 yards with the two touchdown passes to Kelce; this extended the count to the 15th and 16th times that they have combined for the playoffs, which is one more than the combination of Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski for the NFL record of the playoff touchdowns for a quarterback-receiver duo.
The outcome of the playoff game on Sunday of the AFC Championship was one of the other disappointing finishes for the Bills, who have won their 4th consecutive AFC East title and were on their six-game roll since a 20-17 win at Kansas City on December 10.
