James Austin Johnson returned to Saturday Night Live as Donald Trump just two days before, when the New Hampshire primary results were knocking on the door. Throughout the skit, Johnson performed the whole of it from a courtroom setup.
In this skit, he sarcastically replied to some comments on Trump while he was Johnson Trump. The SNL Trump also relished his Iowa caucus blowout while he ribbed one of his rivals. Johnson became Donald Trump for a day and bought out the Trump in him.
Johnson Trump, aka James Austin Johnson
James Austiom Johnson as Donald Trump steps in on Saturday Night Live, just days before the New Hampshire primary results are about to be out.
Johnson Trump takes all his press meetings from the courtroom of New York, his beloved place, where he has attended one of the cases keyed up for 2024, counting more in its way.
Johnson, as Trump said, “2024 is going to be a very exciting year. I’m either going to jail, being president, or, frankly, the Purge.” This statement is an apparent reference to the movie franchise, where all crime is considered legal for half a day out of the year.
Further in the skit, Johnson Trump says, “This is the campaign, folks.” While he introduces the audience to the courthouse where he works and takes all the matters into account, He explains to them that this is where he stays and yells in the courthouse lobby, standing beside a barricade like a Guatemalan family at JFK passenger pickup.
While following his skit, Johnson Trump also relished his Iowa caucus blowout as he ribbed one of his rivals, Ron DeSantis, as he went distant by showing a second-place finish.
Trump went on saying that Ron went to 99 countries but, b**** could not win one and nicknamed the Florida governor, Ron Destupid.
In reality, what came out was that Ron had canceled a few Sunday morning shows, which also raised some speculation that he might drop out. Later, his campaign mentioned that it was an issue in his schedule before he returned to New Hampshire.
Moving forward, Trump makes the next move on his former rival, Vivek Ramaswamy, about whom he said, “Dropped out of the race and has agreed to live in my suit pocket.” followed by another move on Nikki Haley, he said, “She thought I was done, but I am back in a big way. I’m back like Mean Girls.”
The skit that Johnson had for the day was also referring to the attack that Hayley made through her statement on Trump today, as there are questions arising about whether Trump is mentally fit for office. Trump had mentioned Hayley multiple times at his rally on Friday, where he meant Nancy Pelosi.
Further in the skit, Johnson Trump referred to the taped footage of Trump and Jeffery Epstein dancing together; he says, “Boy, is that some dark energy?” Trump claimed he would not be surprised if that footage was ‘fake’ because ‘it’s very real’ and one has to think of it in many ways that it could not be.
James Austin Johnson, aka Johnson Trump, ended his SNL skit with We have seen a lot of success saying things that did not happen.
Trump said he thinks they will continue to do that. It is an innovation that he is proud of and seems to be working very well. He said he loves his country and its traditions, and “that’s why he is not doing any debate and barely doing elections.”
In reality, on Monday, Donald Trump is expected to be seen in the courtroom before the Granite State primary. He has been attending the second civil trial since last year.
The jury has already found him liable for the sexual assault of Caroll based on the trial case brought by E. Jean Caroll. The latest file of this is approximately to be determined as damages.
While spending much time on the presidential campaign in courthouses, Trump has been under less camera surveillance during court proceedings and delivers lengthy statements to the media outside the chambers, as well as running a campaign of unusual size for the nominations in the halls of Justice.
