Originally, author Ryousuke Hata published his envisioned stories in web novel form on the popular Japanese website Shosetsuka ni Naro. This allowed him to share an ongoing, regularly updated narrative directly with emerging fans starting back in 2016.
Gaining readership and popularity on the web, the next step saw Hata partner with illustrator Kuma to adapt the web novel into a more polished light novel version.
