In the last chapter, we see Ersia was composed the entire way, but she lost it when she arrived at her room. She had the same-length haircut for the remainder of her hair. To cheer her up, the pope went to her room. While she slept in his arms, he chopped off the remaining hair.
Ersia wanted to go home the following day, so the pope arranged everything for her. But as she was about to go, the crown prince stopped her. She shouldn’t leave the house, he said. Or he will severely complicate her life.
He cautioned her against putting her trust in anything or anyone. To make his point, he set her carriage on fire. Fortunately, the pope had prepared for this and given it some thought. The pope questioned Ersia about her family while they were returning to her home.
The Fezzentera family, according to Ersia, is a crucial component of the kingdom. Their family members handle tasks that other lords would be too afraid to handle. The backroom transactions and similar activities.

Aslia informed Erica that she had previously informed him that she was unable to give him anything since she was neither the crown prince’s consort nor the gods’ envoy. Erica informed him that she no longer felt that way. She said he was not interested in a woman who lived in the shadows, but rather in the information she had amassed to become the crown prince’s consort.
That would be an entirely different scenario if she had been wielding a sword instead of flowers, and her ability to use supernatural power would only be successful if she had faith in God. Aslia had no idea how long it would endure, and he had no idea if the power would eclipse her.
Erica was unsure of what he meant when he said that, but She said that she appeared to be having some difficulty speaking up and that she also had a lot of feelings for him that she did not typically display.
Erica questioned Aslia about his purpose for being in her room. Aslia surmised that Erica was probing him excessively because she was having trouble remembering what had transpired the previous evening.
His Holiness asked about Ercia’s familial name. She said to him that her family called her by several names or by her given name. She said that her nickname was Cia in response to His Holiness’s question.
His Holiness told Ercia that they were going to become family soon, and he too wanted to call her by name. The fact that His Holiness called Ercia by name infuriated her.
While at work, the crown prince got a message from his butler that the emperor was looking for him. Hearing that, the crown prince felt uncomfortable because he already knew why he was calling.
Erica informed him she was done being weak. Aslia told her he was going to go, but before he did, he gave her the sword, which fit her better than he had anticipated. Erica stated that she wanted to visit the duke’s house and informed him that there was a requirement.
Aslia assured her that he would set up the carriage and that they would go together from that location. Erica told him she no longer believed in things unseen like love; thus, she wanted to make sure there was no love in the contract.
The things that she learned in the last chapter are now more familiar to her. She wasn’t sure what to make of what she didn’t know and what she had just discovered, so this came as quite a shock.
But in the previous chapter, she wasn’t really worried about that, and after being relieved of her responsibilities, she was able to enjoy some freedom.
Along the way, she ran into her brother, who appeared to have become younger once more. Not in terms of age, but in the most recent chapter, he has become even less mature for no apparent reason.
