This thriller drama revolves follows the story of three lives, Ates, Feraye and Yaman. By twist of fate, the lives of these three will be intertwined however will lead to demise also. Following the Gulsoy family, one of the prestige families of Turkey, Ates is the eldest son of the family.
However, he spent his life abroad making his career. At his mother’s request, Ates comes back to his hometown. However, after landing he becomes the head of the family leading ordering around the rest members. Meanwhile, Yaman is the younger brother of Ates.
He is in love with Feraye who is the only daughter of their neighbour’s family. Yaman and Feraye are childhood lovers, they even vowed to get married once they grew up. However, no one in their family knows about their relationship.
Yaman with the return of his brother and their mother’s birthday being celebrated announces his marriage with Feraye. But Ates reluctantly rejects the marriage and asks Yaman to find another girl. From here a bitter relationship takes turn between the two brothers while Feraye struggles with what to do.

Recap
The previous episode of Safir opens up in a very heated environment, as Yamand Feraye are arguing about their relationship. Yaman is busy with his war these days because of this he can not focus on Feraye, who is struggling alone as she lost her job and also her house.
Feraye who always wanted to be a career woman and desired to know her profession is now frustrated with being called Yaman’s wife, who is the son of a wealthy family. She advises that both should take a break from their relationship as both are feeling suffocated in this relationship.
However, Yaman still drags Ates and holds him the one responsible for creating a gap between him and Feraye. He is not ready to even understand the depth of what Feraye wants him to understand. On the other hand, Okan is worried about Ates who just disappeared.
Yaman also witnesses so and both brothers are now interwined with a secret. The environment in the mansion gets heated as Cemile takes the chance from Feraye to work with Istanbul’s popular brand. Yaman comes to calm her down but the two again quarrel.
As the dawn approaches, Yaman is abducted by Bekir at a gunpoint. Since Yaman is the only person who knows the secret therefore Bekir seeks revenge on him. On the other hand, the people who were waiting for Bekir to kill, but Cemile comes instead which surprises them.
Bekir on the other hand, offers Yaman two choices, what would be these choices and whether will Ates be able to protect his brother’s life.
