ABC has revealed the details for The Bachelor season 28, and there are a lot of things to know about it. Since its 2002 debut, one of the most-watched reality dating competition series is The Bachelor.
The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise, two of its spin-offs, are likewise very popular. Furthermore, Gerry Turner, the show’s lead character, wed Theresa Nist in a live broadcast, making The Golden Bachelor a tremendous hit.
Among the other franchise series that have aired were The Bachelor: The Greatest Seasons Ever, The Bachelor Pad, The Bachelor Winter Games, and The Bachelor Presents: Listen to Your Heart.
The Bachelor is the least successful series in the Bachelor franchise in terms of happy marriages. Only one of the leads, Sean Lowe, wed Catherine Giudici, the woman he proposed to on the show.
There are currently two couples together: Zach Shallcross and Kaity Biggar, and Matt James and Rachael Kirkconnell. Rachael and Matt started dating in April 2021 after they got back together following his season.
Since Zach’s proposal during his finale, which aired in March 2023, Kaity and Zach have been engaged. It’s time to discuss some The Bachelor season 28 trivia.
As expected, Charity Lawson’s competitor from The Bachelorette season 20 was selected to be the next official Bachelor. The news that Joey Graziadei would be the star of The Bachelor season 28 broke in August 2023.
The departure of show creator Mike Fleiss from The Bachelor in season 28 is one of the biggest developments. In March 2023, the day following the broadcast of The Bachelor season 27, Mike declared his intention to leave the franchise.
As executive producers and showrunners for the franchise, he will be replaced by Claire Freeland, Jason Ehrlich, and Bennett Graebner. Mike has over 20 years of experience with the Bachelor franchise, but he hasn’t been involved in the day-to-day management of the shows for the past 10 or so.

Recap
We start in the Tealight Candle Thunderdome, where host Jesse Palmer moves things along after giving a quick nod to “the tragic events in Nashville” and encouraging everyone to support sensible gun laws.
It’s time for Ariel, Zach’s third runner-up, to take the stage first and talk about her farewell to Zach and the entire fiasco surrounding Fantasy Suite week. It’s not surprising: She looks amazing.
Ariel says that even though she “emotionally shut down,” she also made an effort to “keep composure” and “display gratitude” to Zach for their relationship when she looked back on their breakup. She didn’t realize how deeply the split had affected her until she was in the van.
Naturally, Ariel was unaware that Zach had broken his chastity vow and then admitted the error to Kaity at the time of the breakup. Rose lovers, Ariel was not impressed with the episode when she saw it.
“I’m seriously injured. “When you’ve shared so many private moments with a partner, it really hurts to find everything out on TV when everyone else does,” she says to the host. “I was really disappointed in the way the whole week was handled.” Ma’am, you and the entire Bachelor Nation!
