In the previous chapter of I’ll Be The Matriarch In This Life, Clerivan, Bien and Tia hold a meeting where Bien reveals the identity of the Monac Guild’s true leader. Everyone was shocked to know that the Monac Guild was being led by the Second Prince Perez, especially because of all the trouble it was creating for Perez.
Clerivan looked shocked and distressed by the news and even Tia did not expect this turn of events. As the meeting is going on, Clerivan tells Tia that he has something he needs to discuss and talks about the matter that Tia’s father, Gallahan had shared with Clerivan earlier.
Even Clerivan wasn’t expecting such an enthusiastic reaction because Tia jumped straight into agreeing to that idea. She also mentioned that they need to move the cut and dried Triba trees to Chesayu, not for Gallahan to use but for the Pellet organization to make a sturdy boat.
Tia explains that Noktia and Elvia river are the biggest rivers so she wants to make a boat big enough for those rivers. Clervian instantly realized what Tia was trying to do and said that they could move their merchandise through the Eastern Sea Route very easily if they had a boat, especially if a port is constructed by Gallahan.
After that, Clerang Devon comes to have a meeting with Tia and he gets sentimental playing with Merrin after having a few drinks. As they are talking, Tia hints about having a big project for Clerang and making him Lombardi family’s exclusive assistant which piques his interest.
