We saw more cute sides of the little Caleb in the last episode as he opens up a little more to Elia. The little kid has a lot of worries weighing him down, which has made him too mature for his age. The readers and even Elia were glad to see a smiling and happy Caleb since he looked more like a child when he did that.
We can assume that Elia and Caleb will return to the Grand Duchy together in the future episode since the ML of the story is most probably Caleb’s older brother, the one who got cursed by a fairy. In the previous chapter of I Became the Young Villain’s Sister-In-Law, Elia and Caleb spend peaceful days at her cabin and Caleb gets to rest like a normal child for the first time. Elia cooks for him and lets him sleep for as long as he wants, which makes him trust Elia more and want to tell her about himself and his family.
Elia was hesitant to get too involved with Caleb but it was already too late now, so she asks him to go ahead and tell her everything he wants. Caleb starts by telling her about his older brother, Cedric, who was adopted into the family when he was ten years old and became a magic prodigy.
Well, that’s all Elia knew since only this much was written in the book, seeing that Cedric was dead when the book began in the first place. Caleb also talks to Elia about his older brother and reveals that he loves his brother, but he ended up getting cursed by a fairy last year.
So far, nothing has worked out and the only way to lift the curse is if the caster lifts it themselves. Elia knew that it was the fairy’s curse since it was mentioned in the book as well since it was the reason Caleb turned into a villain. In the book, a fairy tries to curse Prince Renoa and put him to eternal sleep but Daphne saves him.
When Elia transmigrated, everything had already happened and Cedric had been cursed as well. Caleb talks about getting into the Sanctuary of Knowledge and finding the cure there but he would have to become the Archduke and prove his loyalty to Imperial Family before he could do that.
