We already saw in the last chapter that 003 is after the SW Chairman, which means that he will have to go up against her soon enough. So far, there has not been any direct confrontation between Ijin and 003, since she has only sent her team out to ambush the Chairman. However, we can expect it to happen in the upcoming chapters.
003 is shown to be very manipulative and toxic, to the point that she can do anything to get what she wants. It is safe to assume that she will not be an easy person for Ijin to deal with, but we are sure he knows that too. Let us see how Ijin deals with this situation in Mercenary Enrollment Chapter 172.
The Chairman and the Director were both very impressed by Ijin’s quick thinking since he definitely saved their lives just by being vigilant. Not only that, Ijin is also a very impressive fighter and dealing with the troops sent in by Jacal and 003 was easy for him. He basically wiped out everyone who had infiltrated the hotel building.
003 managed to recruit Alice and Jacal for her work since they are both talented fighters and would make efficient pawns. Jacal basically fell for 003’s trap since she only decided to make him work for her after she realized that he had eyes on her for all the wrong reasons.

Recap
In the previous chapter of Mercenary Enrollment, 003, Alice and Jacal come up with a plan to infiltrate the hotel where the SW Chairman was staying and kidnap him. They only wanted the SW Chairman but since Ijin is one of the bodyguards, of course the clash between him and his former comrade 003 is basically inevitable.
003, who also goes by the name Quinn, recruited Alice who is said to be a great marksman and Jacal, who she wants to make her pawn. They basically release a toxic gas through the hotel’s air vents to knock everyone unconscious, so that their abduction can go smoothly.
He takes off their gas masks and hands one to Director and Chairman before putting one on himself. Of course, he had not eliminated the entire team yet and there were a lot of members who were still conscious and looking for their target with a gun ready in their hands.
Ijin takes them out as well, and the Chairman is left really surprised. The Director said that he wanted to take the lead but Ijin refused pretty firmly. He told the Director that he is not competent in one-on-one protection, so the Director should only focus on protecting the Chairman while he takes the lead and clears the path.
Once they have successfully eliminated the enemy force, Ijin checks on the other SW bodyguards and sees that they are all breathing and only unconscious. Ijin leads the two out of the hotel backdoor and Jacal is very offended when he realizes the two teams were annihilated and failed the mission.
