After a nerve-wracking encounter in Lodolan that almost got the best of Ronan, we are now headed to Professor Sekrit’s hidden house to find a cure for Ronan’s curse.

Academy’s Genius Swordmaster Chapter 31 opens up with Nabirose and Ronan returning to the academy from Lodolan when Ronan’s eye suddenly aches. Nabirose asks Ronan if his eye is too itchy, and Ronan agrees by saying that it has been this way since he touched the eyeball monster.
Ronan asks Nabirose if something is wrong with him, but Nabirose reassures him that it’s a common symptom that appears when a curse starts to weaken.

Nabirose asks Ronan if he knows anyone who might be responsible for this curse, but Ronan says that he’s not sure. Ronan further adds that he has never hurt anyone in his life, so nearly no one holds a grudge against him. Somehow, Nabirose finds it hard to believe Ronan’s words.
Ronan thanks Nabirose for saving him back in Lobolan, as that old man might have done something weird to him if she hadn’t stepped in when she did. Nabirose smiles and says that she only did what an instructor should do in such a situation.
Just hearing how Nabirose doesn’t even take compliments, Ronan realizes how much of a good person she is, but this only makes him even more curious about how he didn’t even hear about her in his previous life. Ronan wonders if Nebula Clasier did something to him to make him forget, but other factors could also be involved.
The Next Day, Ronan arrives at the Sherry Forest to meet up with Grand Commander Adeshan. Adeshan cheerfully greets Ronan and tells him that she’s happy to meet him after so long.
The overwhelming sweetness shines so bright that it gives Ronan a headache. Ronan thinks that he needs to conversate with Adeshan, so he just laughs it off.
Adeshan tells Ronan about Cardan and how he’s been improving even though he has become quite afraid of her lately. Adeshan then tells Ronan that she heard about his curse, so Ronan explains that he needs to meet Professor Sekrit to help him with this issue. Ronan then looks around and wonders why Professor Sekrit lives in such a weird place.
Adeshan laughs and says that Professor Sekrit is unique, so nonmagic students don’t even visit him, and for this particular reason, she has called another magic student to accompany Ronan. Just when Adeshan mentions this other person, Elizabeth comes rushing towards her and hugs her tightly.
Adeshan greets Elizabeth, and she also apologizes to her for calling her on such short notice. Elizabeth holds Adeshan’s hand and tells her that she can call her whenever she wants, and she will always answer. Elizabeth then asks Adeshan why she wants to meet Sekrit when she suddenly sees Ronan standing in the distance.
Ronan tells Elizabeth that he is the one who wants to meet Sekrit. He then greets Elizabeth by calling her “Eli”(the name that Adeshan uses), and Elizabeth loses her cool. Despite being annoyed by Ronan’s presence, Elizabeth still agrees to take him to Sekrit because she can’t refuse Adeshan’s request.
After some walking, Elizabeth and Ronan eventually arrive at Sekrit’s office. Ronan looks at the area around the office, and he becomes suspicious of Elizabeth’s intentions, but Elizabeth reassures him that she won’t do anything to him. With every passing moment, Elizabeth gets even more annoyed by Ronan.
Ronan and Elizabeth then enter the house and find an old woman sitting on a chair. Ronan wonders if this old woman is Sekrit, but Elizabeth proves him wrong when she uses some chants that turn the old woman into a door. Ronan finds this process a bit creepy, but he still decides to go along with it.
Ronan and Elizabeth enter the door and arrive at Sekrit’s real office, Sepparacio. Ronan is amazed and also horrified by the method needed to arrive at this office. Suddenly, Sekrit himself appears in front of Ronan, and he exclaims that Ronan has something very determined inside him, just as Nabirose told him.
