Prince Vinchen finds out that the man who was out for his blood was no other than his own uncle. However, Daimar wasn’t just his uncle by relation, but Vinchen also reveals that he’s his son. The truth behind this shocking claim will be revealed in the upcoming chapter of the Manhwa!
Recap
The fight between Edmond and Vinchen continues. Edmond had underestimated the power of Vinchen, but was clearly beginning to realize the intensity of his hits. Many of the undead were being destroyed by him, and his fellow teammates are just as impressed if not more by the capability of Prince Vichen.
After Vinchen kills one of the last undead, Edmond is shook over the fact that his seventh rank warrior was now dead. Vinchen approaches him and tells him to surrender quietly or else the consequences of responding otherwise won’t exactly be in his favor.
Edmond can’t help but get in a fit of rage. He had always been against the Adenca family, thinking they were always full of themselves. He had spend his last twenty years trying to cause chaos on the Ardenca people, but was now being destroyed by the Ardenca member he despised the most.
Unable to control his anger, Edmond brings an earthquake to the whole of Mielthium city. The others begin to get wary of his behavior and the trembling of the city. Edmond had decided that if he wasn’t able to follow through with his original plan, then he would destroy everyone along with him.
Just then, a mysterious man appears. Edmond knew who he was and instantly stopped everything he was doing. The man mocks him saying how disgraceful it is to resort to such destructive behavior, and threatened to take away his rank as a strategist.
Vinchen notices the core of Lich in his hand while Edmond pleads for forgiveness from the stranger. He tells him it won’t happen again but the man shows no mercy and instantly crushes the core, killing Edmond. He screams in pain saying he doesn’t want to die, then vanishes into thin air.
While the rest are confused on what’s going on, Vinchen figures out that Edmond was merely a pawn for this stranger. Serkun asks the man why he’s here, meaning they knew each other before hand. The man is introduced as Daimar Helraim, the hier to the Helraim family.
The reveal of Daimar’s idenitity instantly connected the dots, making him the uncle of Vinchen. Daimar had brough the warriors of Helraim along with him. Vinchen now knew that Helraim was behind all this destruction. Daimar simply told him to back off now that he was aware of the situation.
Vinchen cannot stand Daimar when he says whatever is happening is natural, as he had witnessed the father of a two year old nearly being sacrificed under false accusations. Daimar tells him to quietly forget everything that had happened and he would in return spare their lives.
However, Vinchen had no intention of backing off. He reveals that he’s now Prince Vinchen Adenca, and also the son of Daimar Helraim. The chapter ends with Vinchen calling for his mother, who was a witness to his words.
