We have a new magical mystery thriller to show titled Sanctuary: A Witch’s Tale. This show is going to be, from what I understand, six episodes long, and it’s based on the novel of the same name.
I have not read that book. However, I was intrigued by the trailer. And you know what? I am glad that I checked it out.
Basically, the premise of the show is that there’s this place, a small town called Sanctuary, where it’s legal to be a witch, and you have to register, of course. And if you end up being registered, then you can help people with your spells and your bruises and something.
But things end up getting bad for a particular Witch. There’s a murder in the town, and her daughter ends up being accused of the murder.
Sanctuary: A Witch’s Tale Recap
Before diving into Sanctuary: A Witch’s Tale Episode 3, let’s quickly recap and review the previous episode. The first episode started with an introduction about Sanctuary, witchcraft, and other things. Then, we get to see one of the main leads. Her name is Sarah Fenn, and she’s a registered witch who helps the people of Sanctuary. She has this very close group of girlfriends; one of them is Abigail, then I think there’s Cheryl.
In this introduction, we get to see a new couple who say that it’s kind of expensive to live in a sanctuary. But there are a lot of benefits if you end up living here because, again, we have a registered Witch. So, as these women are talking, they hear a body falling, and everyone rushes towards the body to see what happened.
You can kind of tell that the person who ended up falling is actually a kid, and of course, Abigail is like, “We have to help him.” Then Sarah ends up using some sort of word magic in order to help him.
We jump ahead six years, and we get to see this girl; she’s pregnant, and she’s talking to Abigail. And Abigail is kind of like the head of Sanctuary, she’s kind of like the governor, The first lady of Sanctuary, and she takes the girl to Sarah, and she’s like, “Hey, don’t worry, Sarah’s one of my best friends and she could help you out.”
So the woman who’s pregnant, she’s been feeling a lot of pain. However, the doctors and her husband can’t really figure out why she’s feeling that pain because nothing is necessarily wrong with the baby or the pregnancy.
Sarah’s like, “You know what, just let me check. I’m gonna, I’m gonna do something”. So she goes back to her spell room and their spellbook on one of the shelves, and instead of actually opening it and reading, she kind of just raises her hand in front of it as if she is absorbing the sound or the energy from the book and then she goes back to the pregnant lady.
Sarah ends up using a stone in order to pinpoint the location of the pain and where all of that negative energy is coming from. A lot more happened in previous episodes, but now let’s discuss when Episode 3 of Sanctuary: A Witch’s Tale will be released and what will happen in it.
