The Plot
“The Foolish Angel Dances with the Devil” follows Masatora Akutsu, a steadfast demon on a mission to protect his demon world from the approaching threat of heavenly angels.
He unexpectedly makes his way to Earth and assumes the identity of a high school student in an attempt to find a human who would motivate the other devils to battle the alien invaders. Masatora becomes enamored with Lily Amane right away since she is so lovely and sweet.
Masatora is unaware that Lily is an angel sent to correct his evil ways and his archenemy, rather than just a regular person. Masatora becomes entangled in the complexities of the human world and finds himself torn between his duty to his demon tribe and Lily’s angelic presence.
