People in the western Chinese province of Qin decided to take matters into their own hands because they were tired of Li Dian’s harsh rule. They dreamed of escaping slavery, building their own houses, getting married into wealthy families, producing a large number of children, and hiring a large number of slaves.
Their lofty goal was to become the most formidable generals in the entire country of China, with their names echoing across the land. Manga “Kingdom” explores the Shang Gu era, a legendary period when gods and mortals parted ways.
From that time on, innumerable events have transpired, indicating the end of the era of saintliness and the beginning of a chaotic 500-year period known as “The Spring and Autumn Warring States Period,” which began in 245 B.C.E.
A last showdown between Piao and Xin is planned when he travels to the Capital. After Piao leaves, Xin is determined to continue his friend’s legacy and leave his own stamp on China’s bloody past. Recap
In the previous chapter of Kingdom, that is, Chapter 782, we saw that Shiba Shou was there in this battle. The newest of Zhao’s three great heavens and the other supreme commander of the Zhao armies in this battle. That is the Zhao General Shiba Shou. That man’s head is on par with Riboku’s.
The enemies begin to plan on attacking him but to their surprise about thirty thousand men are coming their way. They understand it is the Shiba Shou’s main army so they decide to get out of there as they know they are the ones being hunted.
Shiba Shou by then had already taken off with the Vanguard. And so begins the tragedy of the Qin Army. One of the men also notices and informs Denrimi Sama that there is a tremendous dust cloud behind Shiba Shou.
Meaning, there is a large number of enemy infantry coming up from behind their cavalry. But Denrimi Sama did not care much. He wanted to kill Shiba Shou as soon as possible. Though he knew it would be dangerous, he ordered his men to attack Shiba Shou now.
Shiba Shou’s army on the other hand had different plans. They were not engaging in the melee. They were just scraping past the opponent armies while advancing. Ji Aga’s army and Denrimi Sama’s army decide to club together and then defeat the Shiba Shou’s army.
They begin to advance trying not to harm each other. But due to internal fights and the egos of the men, the plan fails miserably and this creates a great advantage to Shiba Shou’s army. Before anyone could notice, Shiba Shou and his army began to surround the enemy teams.
The Akou army first realizes that something is wrong. The thirty-thousand army had now covered them all in all directions. All the armies now begin to understand that it was all a setup.
The Gakushou army, the Ji Aga army, and even the army of their number one General, Kan Saro was just a setup. All of it was so that the Shiba Shou main army could slip between Akou’s and Denrimi Sama’s fierce armies without injury.
