Chained Soldier’s (Japanese name: Mato Seihei No Slave) new PV was recently released just before its broadcast by the official staff.
The release of PV before the broadcast made the fans more excited and are eagerly waiting for its arrival. Chained Soldier is a Japanese manga series written by Takahiro and illustrated by Yohei Takemaru, and the anime television adaptation is all set to be released in January 2024 by Seven Arcs.
The PV included various scenes from the anime, such as Yuki Wakura being turned into a slave by the seven program leader Kyoka Uzen and playing an active role in the ability of the seven program Mie, Haeyo Kae, and the other members of the Magical Defence Force, using their abilities to fight against ugly demons.
By November 2019, Chained Soldier’s manga had over one million copies in circulation all around the world, this shows the popularity it has gained, while the anime television is scheduled on January 4, 2024.
Chained Soldier’s Plot
The protagonist of Chained Soldier is Yuuki Wakura, who also plays the role of Dorm manager in the anime. He was previously a third-year High school student when one day, a gate appeared from another dimension, and he got lost where he met Kyoka Uzen, the beautiful leader of the Seven Programs of “Magical Defense Corps” who orders him to become her slave!
Including Yuuki, many others entered the otherworldly gate that appeared in many parts of Japan, the world known as The Motto. When entered, there was a peach tree which gave them unique abilities when consumed, but only if they were girls.
The world is infested with monsters known as the Sukhi, and they start to attack mankind, as mankind struggles to survive, they start investigating the Motto for any resources they can find when they find fruits with Grand Powers known as the ‘Peaches’.
This leads to a world where Women are superior to men and are low-class, and this is where Wakura Yuuki enters as a graduate high school student who is unpopular and has a boring future, and all he is really good at is being in the kitchen with his sister. Yuuki’s sister trained him to become a proper house caretaker so he could one day be a proper husband.
But, one day, she went missing because she got lost in the Motto, also known as the Motto incident, and of course, Yuuki is down in his luck, as one day he coincidentally walks through the Motto in the world full of Sukhi defenseless.
As he tries to survive in the Motto alone, he will be rescued in no time by the demon Defense Force that keeps humanity safe, but of course, he gets attacked before any help arrives.
The Defense Force Chief Kyoka, is alone and outnumbered, but her power is to enslave beings, and her enslaved Shuki is taken out, so she asks Yuuki if he would consent to being enslaved and given the power to fight. Yuuki obviously accepts this opportunity, because this is a chance to become someone special.
Yuuki becomes a powerful slave and devotes himself to the cause and joins Kyoka along with the Seven Squad of the Demon Defense Force, not as an equal but as a house caretaker because he is a man.
There are so many fights, and seeing the powers on full display is always a treat. Thanks to the great art in the manga, there is a nice variety of powers, so there is always a surprise to come up, like the peach-powered gun, and these powers take the manga to another level.
When Yuuki is in his chained form, he is a powerful Soldier under the chain of Kyoka, and he is not in the full extent of his powers, but we do get to see him attain different forms, which makes it a lot more interesting to see these different kinds of combinations. For example, Yuuki can fly, and you will surely like to see the character development.
We still have not seen Kyoka and Yuuki at their strongest currently, they are not at a good level, but they will definitely get stronger. Chained Soldier is really a good Manga and its anime television adaptation will make it even more amazing with its unique story.
