I Became The Youngest Prince In The Novel Chapter 21: Recap
The Duke wonders if the blood tower is involved in this matter, so he orders the Informant to look into it. The Duke gets rather angry because he never expected to lose such an important card like this. If Zion manages to win the succession ceremony and become the Emperor candidate, then things will change for the entire Agnes family. The Duke wonders if Zion is hiding something or if he’s just lucky.
The Duke strictly orders the Informant to take proper care of the succession ceremony no matter what it takes. The focus shifts to the Succession ceremony, where Zion enters the control room to dispose of all the corrupt guards. The Guards are shocked to see Zion, as they never expected him to catch on so quickly.
One of the guards thinks that this is a great opportunity to kill Zion because Zion has broken the rules by invading the control room, but Zion tells him that he’s just punishing criminals. Zion says that attempting to kill royal blood and trying to manipulate the succession ceremony are both offenses that are punishable by death.
After learning that they won’t survive if they let Zion get out of this place alive, all the guards get into action to finish off Zion. Sadly for the guards, Zion isn’t someone they can kill easily. Zion quickly dodges all the attacks and cuts down the guards with much ease. Such brutal and precise action by Zion sends the rest of the guards into a state of fear.
One of the guards created a fire shield to protect himself. He thinks that Zion will get burned if he tries to attack him now, but Zion easily breaks the fire shield without taking any damage. Slowly and gradually, Zion kills everyone in the room, even though they all start begging for mercy. The last remaining guard also gets on his knees because he knows that he has no chance of killing someone as strong as Zion.
Zion approaches the last guard and tells him that he’s aware of the fact that someone must have ordered him to do this. The Guard gets scared and agrees to answer all of Zion’s questions in exchange for his life, but Zion already knows everything. Zion finishes off the last guard and then orders the hidden demon to show himself.
The Demon exits from the body of the dead guard and commends Zion’s ability to perceive his presence. The Demon further adds that he never expected the Imprisoned Prince of Agnes to be this strong. Zion doesn’t get surprised by seeing the demon because he has already dealt with their kind before.
The Demon notices that Zion isn’t surprised after seeing a demon in the royal palace, so he realizes that Zion must have known about him all along. He further adds that he was going to leave the Palace quietly, but he changed his mind after seeing Zion. The Demon says that he wants to ask Zion something, but Zion refuses to answer without a fight.
The focus shifts to Lynette running around in a hurry to search for Zion because she knows that only Zion can help her survive the hellish Succession Ceremony. While searching for Zion, Lynette runs into her brother Veil. Both Veil and Lynette couldn’t believe that they survived for so long.
Lynette then asks Veil if he has seen Zion, and Veil replies that Zion has probably died already. Lynette tells Veil that Zion is alive and they will need him to pass the succession ceremony because Zion is the strongest.
