The Argentinian team was competing against Italy in the previous episode. Viewers are excited to see Coach Rebrte in Captain Tsubasa Season 2 Episode 13.
The game began with France kicking off. Misaki told Tsubasa and others to keep an eye on Pierre, number 10 from France.
France had possession of the ball, and its captain, Pierre, held onto the ball. Without delay, he dribbled and moved his way up.
It was the first step for France Junior Youth to win that whole thing. Everyone was in total shock after witnessing his magnificent footwork.
No one from England could keep up with his graceful dribbling. It almost seemed like Elle Sid Pierre’s show, and everyone was impressed with his ball-handling skills.
Pierre had earned the name soccer artist in France because of his skills. They called him the artist of the pitch, and Tsubasa thought it was quite incredible.
All the girls were cheering for him, and Pierre arrived at the goal all by himself. Everyone was anticipating whether Pierre would shoot and crown the finale to his one-man show.
Pierre was aware that the winners, Germany’s Uruguay and Japan’s Misaki, and all of their rivals were watching the game from the stands.
So he could not make that shot. Meanwhile, Napoleon was complaining to his couch about why he was not part of the starting roster.
The coach reminded Napoleon that he had not been with the team for long, so he wanted him to observe the game.
He wanted Napoleon to learn each member’s oddity. Napoleon thought it was stupid because he could not adapt his play to anyone.
He asked the coach to put him in the game because he wanted to score all by himself. In the meantime, Pierre made his superb last pass, but their forward, Borghi, missed the ball.
Unfortunately, the ball went over the crossbar. The England players were relieved and agitated because they were pretty close to losing the match.
Recap
Everyone was a bit disappointed because France could not make good on its first and rare chance. They believed that the home game pressure was becoming too much for them.
Napoleon was not happy about the missed shot, and he was questioning the coach about why he put someone like that in the game. He could not figure out what their coach was thinking.
Tsubasa told everyone, even though France had not made their goal. Just as Misaki said, Pierre indeed had amazing skills.
Everyone agreed that Pierre was incredible. They mentioned that it seemed like they were seeing Misugi when he was in elementary school.
It was finally England’s turn to fight back, so they began their counterattacks. England’s captain told his players not to make any passes anywhere near Pierre.
The weakness in the French defense was shaking up the sides. England’s midfielder, Jones, switched play with a long pass to the left.
Their forward player Wright came in running to double back, and in the meantime, their forward player Dean pushed the ball towards the goal.
Pierre told Goalie to come out, but Dean still managed to put the ball in. England took the first point with that goal, and every England player was excited because their strategy worked in their favor.
France’s team was in total disappointment, and they knew that the England players had done their research on their entire team. The France team captain told the players to pull it together because it was just one point.
